The Bob Revolution Se stroller – Designed for not-so-everyday adventures

Well that’s what the maker claims and it seems to be borne out by people that have bought and used it over the last few years.  Its got a front pivoting wheel that can be locked and a really lightweight frame that is easy to fold. A padded seat, that’s fully reclinable with a fully adjustable 5 point harness as well as a canopy that appears to be an improvement from previous years models. The makers can always come up with a good spiel, but do people really say?

What do real people say about the Bob Revolution SE ? Here’s what we found.

Most people loved the quality of the stroller, and didn’t see price point as too much of an issue. The front wheel locks make it great for jogging and there’s also a strap you can attach to yourself so it doesn’t run off from you.
Some commented on how the new canopy has a view window which they found useful for being able to keep an eye on Bub whilst they are running. In fact one woman commented that she found it easier to jog with the stroller than without it!

We found a couple of negative comments though. One customer felt that the posture of the reclining hammock style seat was bad and another didn’t like the way strap was adjusted.

The Bugaboo Donkey – Single stroller to double and back again in seconds.

Not many strollers make front page news, but when it was unveiled last year the Bugaboo Donkey was snatched up as quickly as the i phone and until recently was unavailable online.

The Bugaboo Donkey is a single stroller, that can expand to a double by releasing 3 clips and pulling it apart widthwise. Although there are 3 models they all share the same chassis configuration, so whatever model you buy to meet your needs, the mono, duo or the twin, the frame is exactly the same.

The MONO can take a single seat or bassinet as well as a handy side basket for toys or other baby stuff. If you have a toddler too then the addition of another seat is an easy option.
For two toddlers then the TWIN with seats or bassinets for babies would be just the ticket. Its easy to mix and match the different configurations according to your individual needs.
The DUO is for parents of two children of different ages. A baby on one side and a toddler on the other – you choose which side – is easy option with the two stroller seats and a bassinet with this option.

A lot of parents out there said that the one handed open and closing action was most useful, a lot of manufacturers claim one handed use but the Zippy actually delivers on this promise. They also liked the fact that it has a five point harness, which is really necessary to stop bub climbing or falling out.

“The seat actually is fully reclining so is great for both newborns and toddlers”.

Despite an extensive search on the net, i couldn’t find any recalls or safety warnings about anything to do with the Inglesina Zippy Stroller. In fact the “Zippy” won the Traditional Minimalist Category as a Light Weight Luxury Item as featured in the April-May 2009 issue of FitPregnancy magazine!

Overall we found the quick folding mechanism to be one of the most useful features. You know what its like trying to be an octopus, well we can’t give you more arms, but the Inglesina Zippy helps to make the best of the ones you have. They don’t do it by getting rid of style either!
