I can’t believe 2019 is already there and it’s time to republish my Top 20 Walkers list! Where have you been for a year? ! I have the impression that from year to year it becomes more and more difficult to keep only 20 models on the list, because there are so many new brands and models that I would like to share with you.
It’s always a choice between something new and exciting that hasn’t been tested yet, or updated popular models that have been around for many years.
I would probably take an old but good quality stroller, because for me the quality of the stroller is the most important feature, and since the model has been around for a long time, there has been a lot of reaction from parents and society has already designed all strollers.
So I’ve developed a good mix of updated models and new models coming out in 2019. I have also tried to include buggies from different categories, such as Runners, full-size and sport all-terrain vehicles, spiral seats, convertibles (from single to double seats) and compact and lightweight models.
1. Nuna Mixx Stroller – $599
For the second time in a row, my favourite Nuna Mixx stroller took first place, as it remains my favourite stroller in the large reversible seat category. It’s really a great pram that has everything you need. You will enjoy the spacious, two-way adjustable and flat lounger that fits you from birth, the huge basket, the huge canopy, the adjustable and easily foldable footrest, the adjustable handle, the large foam-filled wheels, the handy handbrake, the four-wheel suspension and the easy foldability.
You can use it with a child seat or turn it into a mobility system with a Pipa car seat or turn it into a stroller by buying a cradle (sold separately).
The Mixx is now available and sells for $599. It comes with a rain cover, adapters for car seats and a bumper. You can also get it as a travel system with a Pipa car seat (one of the best on the market) for $1,139.
Plus reversible seat, flat folding hood, suitable from birth, adjustable handle, large basket, large hood, comfortable folding brake, four-wheel suspension, cradle option, drive system option, adjustable leg rest, easy folding
Against:bulky, only works with Nuna and Moxi-Cosi chairs.
Here’s my complete review of the Nuna Mixx.
2. UPPAbaby Vista 2019 – $899
UPPAbaby Vista is one of the best selling strollers in the United States. Parents appreciate the high quality and the ability to switch from single to dual mode. It comes with a cradle and is equipped with a reversible seat, a huge canopy, deep tilt, XXL basket, large off-road wheels and can be easily folded. In 2018 they increased the size of the basket, improved the front wheels, added a first-class steering rod in real leather and bumper caps in all colours and of course a new colour scheme. Leather is REACH-certified, which meets the EU requirements for chemical tests.
You can easily turn it into a touring system by purchasing a UPPAbaby Mesa car seat (one of the best). It is suitable for two child seats, two washbasins or two child car seats. You can even add a third child by purchasing a PiggyBack Ride-Along stroller. You can get it now for about $899, depending on the color.
Plus reversible seat, dual mode option, including cot, travel system option, off-road tires, large basket, adjustable handle, adjustable footrest, intuitive one-step folding mechanism, deep top foldable with one hand, all-wheel suspension.
percent: rude, my dear.
Here is my complete review of UPPAbaby Vista 2019.
3. UPPAbaby Cruz 2018 – $499
UPPAbaby has also recently updated its Cruz model, which has many of the features of the Vista but is lighter and more compact thanks to its smaller wheels and narrower frame. Like the Vista, it has a huge canopy, a large basket, an adjustable footrest, an adjustable handle, a one-handed folding arm and much more.
Until 2018 they had only added genuine leather handles and bumpers in all colours. Previously, this was only the case for some selected colours. Leather is REACH-certified, which meets the EU requirements for chemical tests.
It can also be converted into a touring system with my favourite UPPAbaby Mesa car seat or a stroller with cradle (sold separately). It is now available and can be purchased for about $499.
Plus reversible seat , large canopy, large basket, adjustable footrest, adjustable handle, one-hand folding arm, easy to fold, bumper, comfortable brake with soft top, optional cradle, optional travel system.
Contraindications: without suspension, large fold.
Here is my complete review of UPPAbaby Cruz 2019
4. Bugaboo Fox 2018/2019 – $1,199
Bugaboo rarely adds new models to its collection, so I was very happy to see the new Bugaboo Fox, which is a cross between the Buffalo and Cameleon models. Besides, they’re arresting Buffalo.
I think Fox has the best of both worlds. It’s still a life-size model, but it weighs only 22 pounds, compared to 27 pounds in Buffalo. Very light stroller with reversible seat for off-road vehicles. You can use it from birth with the included cradle or turn it into a tourist system (works with the most popular car seats).
It also has a large basket, a large canopy, a spacious chair, a chair that can be folded in 3 positions with one hand, an adjustable steering rod, an easy to fold up handbrake (not user-friendly with Buffalo) and suspension on all wheels (Buffalo has no suspension).
The main difference is that everything can be set up in Fox style: Awning, seat, frame and steering wheel. It sells for about $1,199 (depending on the fabric) and comes with a cradle and bumper.
Plus Reversible seat , large basket, large canopy, spacious seat, triple folding canopy, adjustable handlebar, easy to fold, upright folding, easy to brake back, suspension for all wheels including stroller, Travel System option, off-road chassis, two-wheel drive, large front wheels, light weight, bumpers included, rain cover included, stroller option.
Products:no peephole window, bulky folds, no adjustable footrest, little storage space, high price.
Here’s my report on Bugaboo Fox.
5. Bugabu Cameleon 3 2018/2019 – $1,099
The Bugaboo Cameleon 3 is another parent’s favourite stroller in the luxury category. A high price is associated with style, quality and innovation. This stroller will serve you for many years and many children. Some of my favorite features of the Chameleon 3 are the off-road wheels, the adjustable suspension, the huge basket, the huge hood, the reversible seat and the reversible handle.
The included cradle is ideal for the newborn and offers extra sleeping space in the house. All this for a high price of $1,219. Ow! It includes a cradle, a bumper and a rain cover. You can also turn it into a tourist system with many popular car seats such as Peg Perego, Chicco, Britax and Maxi Cosi.
Plus reversible seat , large basket, large awning, spacious seat, triple folding awning, adjustable handle, easy to fold, foldable, brake with folding awning, four-wheel suspension, full cradle, Travel System option, all wheels, two-wheel mode, full bumper, full rain cover, stroller option.
Products:Two-handed folding, no porthole, cumbersome folding, no adjustable footrest, little storage space, high price.
Here’s my review of Bugaboo Cameleon 3.
6. Indy Bumbleride 2018/2019 – USD 529
Bumbleride Indie is one of my favorite off-road vehicles. In fact, these are the first buggies I’ve held in my hand after testing and returning a few dozen other models. I am happy to say that I have been using it with my daughter for many years and I hope to be able to use it with my future children as well.
In 2018 it received a number of small updates: The height of the awning has been increased so that you can also accommodate older children. The levers you pull to fold the stroller are easier to use. There is now an automatic lock that is activated when the stroller is folded down. Two new pockets at the back of the seat provide extra storage space. And of course, new colour combinations.
It is also equipped with an adjustable footrest, an adjustable handle, a huge awning, magnetic closure of the viewing holes, a large storage basket, large wheels, amazing manoeuvrability, light weight, compact folds and environmentally friendly fabrics. It’s available in stores for about $549. If you don’t care about the latest updates, you can take an old model at a discount.
Plusadjustable footrest, adjustable handle, large canopy, magnetic closure with peephole, large storage basket, large wheels, light weight, compact folding, automatic locking, environmentally friendly fabric, optional travel system.
Whereas Seals the seam.
Here is my complete review of Bumbleride Indie 2018/2019.
7. BabyZen Yoyo+ Plus – $499
I think it’s safe to say that Babyzen Yoyo is the most popular model among parents of travelers with children. 99% of the traveling bloggers I follow use Yoyo. This lightweight stroller can be folded into a small bag that fits in the aircraft’s luggage compartment and is approved by most airlines as hand luggage.
At it weighs only 13 pounds, it is very strong and can support the most uneven surfaces. The wheels look small, but they offer great manoeuvrability. It is also equipped with a spacious seat, a large high canopy, a low slope, a large basket and a four-wheel suspension.
YoYo+ Plus 6+ is sold for about $499 (from 6 months). Or you can add YoYo+ Plus 0+ for a newborn for about $225. If you travel a lot, I think it’s a good investment.
Plus super compact folding awning, low weight, good awning, deep folding awning, good basket size, suspension on all wheels, option newborn cocoon, option travel system, high handle, high awning.
Numbers: without adjustable handle, without bumper option, small wheels, high price.
Here’s my full review of Babyzen Yoyo+ Plus.
8. GB Pokit+Plus 2018/2019 – $229
GB Pockit has recently shocked the world with its most compact EVER fold, I had no idea it would be even better. Well, the Pockit+ Plus 2018/2019 model has an oversized folding roof and offers space for the car seat! That’s right, since only weighs 13 pounds , it can be converted into a travel system with a GB or Cybex car seat.
The fold is slightly larger, but still very compact, allowing it to be carried on board any airline. The wheels are very small, so I don’t think he can handle the road as well as the Yoyo model. It’s available in stores for about $229. The original Pockit GB is now available for $179.
Plus collapsible, super compact, lightweight, optional travel system, spacious seat.
Products: small wheels, small awning, small tilt, no adjustable handle, small basket, no peephole, no handbrake, no accessories available.
Here’s my complete review of GB Pockit+ Plus.
9. UPPAbaby Minu 2018/2019 – $399
In view of the popularity of lightweight, compact foldable models, UPPAbaby has decided to launch its own Minu lightweight stroller, which is not easy to move. It’s not as compact as Yoyo+ and GB Pockit, but can still be folded with one hand into a nice package.
As this buggy is not yet on the market, I have little information about the equipment, but I can tell you that it will include a spacious seat, a large, easily accessible basket, a large awning with retractable awning and a mesh window with magnetic closure, automatic locking, vertically foldable, a small storage compartment, four-wheel suspension, a comfortable handbrake and a foldable seat belt.
The seat can carry a child up to 3 months old and weighing up to 50 pounds. It weighs only 14.5 lbs. and can easily be carried on the shoulder. Despite its lightness, the Mesa and Maxi-Cosi car seats can be transformed into a travel system, or even a stroller with the birth set (sold separately). You can order UPPAbaby Minu in advance for about $399.
Plus Spacious seat, lightweight, large basket, large canopy, magnetic closure, car lock, vertically foldable, compact with one hand fold, small storage compartment, full wheel suspension, handy handbrake, folding harness, newborn cocoon, optional travel system.
questions: small wheels.
Here is my complete overview of UPPAbaby minutes.
10. British B-Free – $359
The Britax B-Free is a new off-road stroller from Britax that combines all the features of the super popular B-Agile and Baby Jogger City Mini GT. It was as if Brtiax was reading my reviews and taking notes, because they related to almost all of my complaints. LOL.
B-Free has everything you could wish for in a Rover: a spacious seat, a huge comfortable basket, a huge canopy, an adjustable footrest, an adjustable handle, a large weight limit of 65 pounds, a deep, collapsible canopy and lots of storage space. You can easily bend it with one hand in a jiffy! You can turn it into a travel system by adding a Britax car seat. It’s only sold in black and retail for about $359. The B-Safe car seat system is available for about $605.
Plus large comfortable basket, large awning, adjustable footrest, adjustable handle, high 65 lbs weight limit, low tilt, plenty of storage space, foldable with one hand, optional travel system incl. car seat adapter
Consumers: without bumper option, without overhead handbrake.
Here’s my full review of Brittax B-Free.
11. BOB Walker – $359
The BOB Rambler is a new addition to the BOB family of racers. The younger brother of the Flex model, Ramber, is an off-road racer with many of the same characteristics as the Flex, but with smaller rear wheels. The 12-inch air suspension tyres, combined with an ATV type suspension system, can adapt to any type of terrain while offering a very smooth ride. Parents will enjoy the spacious seat that a child weighing up to 75 pounds can carry! (That’s for high school. LOL.), a large UPF 50+ umbrella, a large basket that is easily accessible, can be tilted low and folded easily.
You can turn it into a travel system by buying a car seat. Works with the BOB car seat or other leading brands. This runner sells for about $359.
This is my complete overview of the BOB Rambler.
Pluslarge awning, high capacity 75 lbs, deep top foldable with one hand, large basket, easy to fold, adjustable spring system, adjustable front wheel track, output tyre, step brake, large castors, optional steering system.
Disadvantages:non-adjustable control lever, no parking brake, no automatic locking device, cumbersome folding.
12. Cybex Eezy S Twist – $299
Every year Cybex presents us interesting new models, and 2018/2019 was no exception. The Cybex Eezy S Twist is one of this year’s coolest light walkers. A unique feature of the Twist is the seat that rotates with one hand on the frame. You don’t even have to take the baby out of the chair to turn it around. It’s cool, right? But that’s not all.
This stroller has much more that parents will love, such as a spacious seat, a flat sun lounger suitable for newborns, a narrow base, a compact one-handed fold, a folding stand, easily foldable brakes, a generously dimensioned basket and a generously dimensioned awning. You can also combine it with a baby seat or a cocoon for the newborn. I think the Cybex Eezy S Twist is designed to compete with the popular Babyzen Yoyo+, which also has a very compact fold. It is available in five colors and is available in stores for about $299.
Plus spiral seat, medium awning, good basket size, handbrake, four-wheel suspension, one-hand fold, standing fold, automatic locking, option baby carrier, narrow frame, option travel system, one-hand deep fold.
Cost:Cost: small wheels, non-adjustable steering, limited number of options for car seats.
This is my complete review of the Cybex Eezy S Twist.
13. Bob Pro/Flex Revolution – $499
It’s a machine that works perfectly! Although BOB has not updated its models in 2018, in my opinion they still have the best drivers on the market. The Revolution Pro and Flex models (almost identical) both have a spacious seat that can accommodate a child weighing up to 70 lbs (that’s a lot!!!), a huge canopy with a large viewing window, a large basket that is easily accessible, a soft 5-point safety harness that is easy to fold (for the rider), large air suspension straps suitable for all types of terrain, a modern adjustable suspension system, an adjustable handle, numerous storage compartments and the handbrake on the Pro model.
Pro-Modelweighs 30 lbs fromwhile Flex-Modelis 28 lbs lighter. Because the Pro Revolution and Flex are currently the best riders on the market, they are at the top of my list. You can get it in three different colors with a silver frame for about $499 at Amazon.
Plus high load capacity, spacious seat, wide tread, modern adjustable suspension system, adjustable handle, adjustable front wheel track, numerous storage compartments, optional transport system, large basket, large awning.
Numbers: bulky, heavy, without adjustable footrest.
Here is my detailed review of BOB Revolution Pro 2016.
Here is my detailed report on the BOB Revolution Flex 2016.
14. Thule smooth 2018/2019 – $849
The city of Thule is known for its great racers, but this year it introduced the Sleek model, a four-wheel drive convertible. It switches from single to dual mode and can carry two seats, two child car seats or two washbasins. You can even add a third older child by attaching the stroller. With 14 different seats the Sleek grows with your family.
Despite its light weight of only 24 pounds, this stroller can carry two children weighing 48.5 pounds in the main seat and 33 pounds in the second seat. We’re talking average capacity. For some reason, many websites contain the false information that each chair weighs 75 pounds. That’s not true.
It also has an adjustable handle, adjustable footrest, low tilt, comfortable brakes, a large covered basket, large off-road wheels including a foldable bumper and a large canopy with retractable awning.
Plus Dual mode, folding seat, adjustable handle, adjustable footrest, deep hood, comfortable folding brake, large covered basket, large off-road wheels, incl. bumper arch, incl. car seat adapter, large canopy, low weight, suspension for all wheels, optional travel system, optional stroller.
Percentage: Bulk storage, high price.
Here’s my review of Thule Sleek.
15. Silver Cross Wave – $1299
The British company Silver Cross has been making prams for over 140 years. Their well-designed, high-quality strollers have long been popular in Europe and have finally reached the United States. Just in time! The Wave is the first model to introduce the Silver Cross to the American market.
It is a luxury convertible stroller that can be converted from a single to a double stroller. You can use it for twins or siblings of any age. It comes with the right holder and the adapters are integrated into the frame, so you can use the head office and the holder directly without having to buy additional adapters. It is also equipped with a large awning, a large basket, an adjustable handle, a spacious seat with two sides, a deep backrest that can be tilted with one hand, a comfortable top folding brake, full wheel suspension and easy folding. It sells for $1,299 and comes with a set of accessories.
Plus Dual mode, large awning, large basket, adjustable handle, seat on both sides, deep awning folding with one hand, comfortable folding brake, four-wheel suspension, easy folding, optional travel system, full crib, full bumper, full crib, mosquito net, rain cover per crib, cup holder, seat insert, car seat adapter and second seat adapter.
percent: bulky, very heavy, high price.
Here’s my full report on the Silver Cross golf.
16. Cybex Mios 2018/2019 – $649
Cybex Mios is a great addition to the Cybex family. This light, reversible stroller is very elegant yet practical. It is intended for parents who do not like to be burdened with bulky travel systems, but still want to take advantage of the possibilities of a life-size model.
The compact one-handed folding machine is ideal for public transport and travel. The retractable awning offers plenty of shade on a summer day. It is also equipped with an adjustable handle, an adjustable footrest, a flat slope adapted to the newborn. You can also convert it into a travel system with an additional child car seat.
The color of the birds of paradise is amazing! This baby is not cheap for a light stroller. It’s available in stores for about $649.
Plus reversible seat , lightweight, adjustable handle, adjustable leg rest, adjustable hood, folding hood, travel system option, optional travel system, optional cradle, large hood, compact one-hand folding, automatic locking, folding to standing position, supplied with swivel bumper, good size basket, suspension for all wheels, convenient brake with folding hood.
Questions: small wheels, high price, limited car seat capacity.
Here’s my full review of Cybex Mios.
17. City Glide Thule 2 2018/2019 – $479
The Thule Urban Glide 2 2018/2019 is one of the most popular jogging tracks on the market today. In 2018 a new handbrake was installed on the handlebars, which can easily be turned to stop the stroller. Parents can also benefit from features such as a spacious low sun lounger, large covered basket, large hood, tiltable bumper, rear suspension system, adjustable steering suspension and easy folding.
You can also convert it into a travel system for your newborn baby. Works with the most popular brands. He weighs 25 pounds and can carry a baby up to 75 pounds. It’s available in stores for about $479. Accessories are not included. The double version is also available for about $679.
Plusspacious seat, deep folding roof, large covered basket, large awning, incl. swivel bumper, rear suspension, adjustable handle, easy to fold, large tires, many pockets, handbrake, automatic locking, adjustable pull, one-hand folding, optional driving system.
numbers: collapsible volumetric, hard foot brake, accessories not included.
Here is my complete overview of the Thule 2 city map.
18. Joolz Geo 2 2018/2019 – $999
Joolz Geo2 is a luxurious, environmentally friendly convertible pram that switches from single to dual mode. It comes with a custom cradle so you can use it from birth. It is suitable for two basins, two car seats or two child seats. Unique to the Geo2 is that it moves instead of the basket when a second child seat is added. So there are no more storage baskets.
Another difference is that the second seat is not identical to the main seat, but rather looks like an adjustable seat, because the child’s legs are dislocated. It’s got a folding roof. Although I appreciate that the stroller will remain in double mode for the same length of time, I personally want a full-size seat with lots of functions and storage space.
Other features include: a spacious, double-sided seat, a deep, 3-position folding awning, a large awning with retractable awning, an adjustable handle, integrated hooks on the handle of the diaper bag, suspension on all wheels, a large, comfortable basket that is easy to fold up, and large wheels that can easily handle different situations in the field.
The head office is located quite high on the frame, so you can use it as a high chair when you go into town. I like his style and modernity. The aluminium frame and leather accents make it distinctive. This puppy’s not cheap. It sells for about $999 and comes with a cradle and bumper.
Plus Dual Mode , with : Cradle, reversible high seat, 3-position folding low hood, large hood, adjustable handle, integrated hook, suspension on all wheels, large comfortable basket, easy to fold, off-road wheels, optional drive system, complete with : Bumpers, automatic locking.
Against: volumetric folding, no adjustable footrest, tiltable with both hands, small second seat, high price, limited accessories included.
This is my full review of Joolz Geo 2.
19. Donkey Bugaboo2 – $1,299
Bugaboo Donkey2 is a luxury off-road stroller known for its high quality and stylish design. Parents love the unique ability to switch from single to double side-by-side mode with just a few clicks. With more than 16 seating combinations and a cot included, this stroller is suitable for any growing family.
You can buy it as a single set and get a second set later, or you can buy it as a double set if you have twins. It can carry two child seats, two washbasins or two child car seats. You can even add a third child by buying a pram.
By 2018 he had received several major improvements, including: revolutionary foam wheels that can roll on any terrain, a new four-wheel suspension, an anti-slip solution for the front wheels, a more balanced frame, a side basket with a new coating and more colour combinations than ever before.
Like the previous model, it is equipped with a one-handed folding awning, a large basket, a huge awning, a comfortable brake with folding awning, no seatbelt, automatic locking, foldable in standing position and an adjustable handle. All these luxurious features and high quality are combined with a high price of about $1299 per MONO (single) version, about $1649 per DUO version and about $7779 per TWIN (free shipping). I know it’s a lot! You could probably put a deposit on the car. LOL. The good news is that all Bugaboo models have been tested for many years and have proven their excellent quality over time. So there should be no surprises and no problems.
Plus Dual mode, single mode, reversible seat, full cradle, full bumper, deep one-handed soft top, large basket, giant tent, comfortable brake with soft top, no belt tension, easy folding, automatic locking, vertical folding, adjustable steering handle.
Products: volumetric fold, wide, no adjustable footrest, no peephole window, low weight limit, high price,
Here is my complete review of Donkey Bugaboo2.
20. Baby Jogger City Tour Lux 2019 – $299
City Tour Lux is a super lightweight reversible stroller that will be a hit with parents. I only weigh 15 kilos, but I have all the characteristics of a life-size model. You can use it as a touring system with a car seat or even as a stroller with a foldable cradle. The reversible seat is very spacious and has a gradient of 140 degrees, so it can be used for up to 3 months.
I love the large awning with a dark mesh viewing window with magnetic closure, the adjustable footrest, the large basket, the automatic locking, the upright folding and the comfortable handbrake with folding awning. The best feature is the compact elbow. It is a multi-storey building, but very compact. Works with the most popular car seats and comes with a travel bag. It’s available in stores for about $299.
Plus light, compact folding reversible seat, large awning, viewing hole with magnetic closure, adjustable footrest, large basket, automatic locking, folding lift, handy handbrake with folding awning, optional travel system, optional stroller.
Cost:Cost: small wheels, non-adjustable steering wheel.
Here is my full review of the Baby Jogger City Tour Lux 2019.
Of course there are other interesting models that didn’t make it through my twenties, like the Silver Cross Pioneer, Nuna Demi Grow, Cybex Balios S, Jool Hub, UPPAbaby G-Luxe 2018, UPPAbaby G-Lite 2018 and others. I’ll keep an eye on them and give you my opinion after I’ve checked them.
